Dubai World Trade Centre was an auspicious occasion to showcase the Gitex Global 2022 from 10th October 2022 to 14th October 2022.
The FTA(Federal Tax Authority) affirmed that its participation at the 42nd GITEX Technology week 2022 was a success, as the five-day event wound up at Dubai World Trade Centre with more than 5000 exhibitors from 90 countries. The FTA went on to reveal a range of digital initiatives plotted to enhance its digital infrastructure. The initiative incorporated Emara Tax System for electronic tax services and Emara Tax Application for smartphones and smart devices, which are lined up to be launched in the near futureFTA also included its new and improved digital system for the VAT Refund Scheme for Tourists visiting UAE, which became the first system of its kind in the world, putting forward a 100% paperless digital transaction. It was applauded by Gitex Visitors all around the world, as it put forward to tourists a coherent, fully automated tax refund process that can be done within two minutes.
