The Corporate Tax Law will apply to all companies registered in the UAE, including free zones. The implementation of UAE Corporate Tax for businesses in the UAE for the fiscal year beginning on or after 1 June 2023.
Corporate Tax will be levied at zero percent on the taxable income (adjusted net profit) of businesses in free zones as long as they comply with all free zone regulations and do not do business with mainland companies; otherwise, a 9% corporate tax will be levied on taxable income (adjusted net profit) in excess of AED 375,000.
